COMMUNITY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS
Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs) are private not-for-profit community-based service organizations, that design and/or develop new affordable housing projects with funding provided by the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) HOME Investment Partnerships Program.
CHDOs are unique because they are community-based affordable housing options developed with pre-determined renters and homeowners in mind.
